Pre-honeymoon ~ Langkawi
18 to 20 January 1999
Our honeymoon was to come later,
but we needed a break to recuperate, so a “pre-honeymoon” was in
order. The Isle of Langkawi was chosen – an idyllic tropical paradise
and Island of Legends, where mythical folklore and colourful tales abound.
Happily, the choice of destination was also within close proximity to Penang
and easy on the budget.
Honeymoon
~ New Zealand
17 February to 7 March 1999
We started our 3-week honeymoon in New
Zealand from Auckland. Travelling through both north and south islands. Yvonne
and I were enveloped in a surreal world of romance, fun and adventure.
Every moment was magic as we indulged in the simple pleasures of life amidst the stunning natural backdrop of Kiwi Land. Every aspect was of fairy tale-like quality, a wonderful chapter of our story to cherish and treasure.
