An Eating Guide in Penang at your finger tips:
•  Seafood eateries

From the sea

Penang island would not be complete without seafood, and luckily we do have some to-die-for seafood outlets and restaurants. Price range vary depending on the location and ambience but be assured they are fresh and tasty.

For the best seafood in town (in no particular order):“Beginning of the World” at Batu Maung (wooden pier that juts out into the sea – they will also supply you with wooden hammers to bash the crab shells); "End of the World" at Teluk Bahang; Bukit Tambun a small town about half an hour's drive from the Penang bridge (known for its exotic seafood, must try "soft shell crab"); Eden Seafood Village at Batu Feringghi; Hollywood Restaurant at Tanjung Bungah; Ocean Green off Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah; and Oriental Restaurant at Macalister Road.
