PENANG FOOD & FRUITS FIESTA 2004 All Over Penang from 2nd to 31st July 2004! Official Launching at the Penang Culinary Expo 2004 The official launching will take place at 10am, 2nd July 2004, in conjunction with the Penang Culinary Expo 2004 to be held at PISA from 2nd to 4th July 2004 (11:00am to 8:00pm). The event will feature a chef's live cooking competition, food expo and lots of F&B sampling. Penang Durian and Fruits Festival 1 4th July 2004 at Gurney Plaza garden area from 10:00am to 9:00pm The event will showcase the best fruits that Penang has to offer, especially the wonderful durians from Balik Pulau and the hills of Penang. The event will offer display, sale and tasting of fruits as well as the famous eat-all-you-can durian buffet plus entertainment. Penang Bon Odori Festival 2004 17th July 2004 at Esplanade (Padang Kota Lama) from 5:00pm to 11:00pm with Japanese music, fun, food and lots of dancing! "Best of Penang" Food Carnival 31st July 2004 at Fort Cornwallis from 5:00pm to 11:00pm The Best of Penang Food Carnival will boast 100 food stalls with the best of Penang's famous food selections. The event will be the highlight and climax of the month-long fiesta with a huge celebration held at Fort Cornwallis with entertainment, bands, food stalls and novelty events.
