Everyone loves to express themselves. These expressions can take many forms art, writing, talking, acting, singing, photography, work. When the digital revolution came about, people discovered yet another avenue with which to express themselves creatively through personal homepages. Websites help people promote personal joys of self-expression, emotional expression and creativity. Like a photo album that never ages, a personal homepage captures important moments in a person's history, like weddings, anniversaries and birthdays. Homepages can also serve to exhibit one's skill in writing, painting, sculpture and interior decor. Nothing quite compares with the joy of sharing your creativity, ingenuity and self-expression with the whole world. When you express yourself through your homepage, boundaries and distances don't seem to matter at all. Design portfolio THE
MOTHER OF ALL WEDDING WEBSITES
"Like the Taj Mahal, this is a monument of love, albeit a virtual one. Somehow, the thought of this website perched in the inner recesses of cyberspace broadcasting a tale/symbol of love between two individuals for all to see for all prosperity (as long as there are phone lines and modems) is undenialbly a romantic one." - Chin Mun Woh's introduction to my wedding website. Once upon a time, we kept all our important photographs in an album, and all our love letters tied up with a pink ribbon. These were carefully put away, only to be taken out to show to important people, and those too were very rare occasions. In this day and age, what better way, I thought, to capture the most important day of your life than in webpages which will always look as fresh as the day they were created? Webpages can be easily retrieved, and can be shared with anyone around the world. Thus began my labour of love, as I got cracking assembling pictures and text (courtesy of Mun Woh) in page after page arranged chronologically. It was time consuming and labour intensive, but after it was completed, I stood back and admired it with pride and joy. It's a great feeling knowing you have accomplished something major. And like the Taj Mahal, it will stand the test of time.

THE
ELUSIVE TYGER GOBY
This website meticulously describes the habitat and habits of this peculiar fish, all of which is based on personal observations. Close-up photographs reveal this little fish in all it's glory.
Open houses (the real sort) are a much-loved tradition in Malaysia. Every major festival that rolls along is an excuse to thrown open the doors, cook up a storm and invite friends and strangers to partake in the revelry. The 25-2-10 website takes the custom of open-house to a new, albeit impersonal level. As with any open house, the visitor needs no invitation. But in the virtual world, he also need not know the household either. He discovers, he enters, he admires, and when satisfied, he leaves quietly. Suffice it to say that the virtual open house is an invitation to partake in a visual feast.

A Wedding Album that won't fade with time Weddings are meant to last a lifetime, why shouldn't wedding photographs? Nothing cuts a trip down memory lane faster than old photographs which are flaking, peeling, yellowing or bug eaten. Worse, very old photographs are irreplaceable. A virtual photo album will ensure that your precious photographs will remain as fresh and as crisp as they day they were taken. Colours retain their vibrancy. Best of all, a virtual wedding album, like this one, can be kept simple and won't cost very much. Photographs can be viewed over and over again on a desktop PC, notebook or LCD projector.
